Q: change property for customer on job

The job report is a document containing the most up to date changes for a jobs option sheet, Home Safety Inspection and the customer notes. A job report is created whenever an invoice against a job is created

Sending a job report to a customer

By default a job report will not be sent to a customer after an invoice is created, the technician must opt in to sending the customer the job report. It is done by click the send job report toggle when invoicing a job

Viewing a job report

After a job report is created the technician who invoiced the job will be sent a copy of the PDF to their work email. The PDF will also be added to the job photos (although the app won't display it), anyone with access to the web app will be able to view and download the PDF by going to the photos tab on the job.

HSI in the job report

Technicians will now be able to include the HSI in the job report when invoicing a job. Only sections that have been selected will appear on the job report. Blank selections will be left out

To get the HSI in the job report, in the same screen you confirm whether to send the job report to the customer, you can select whether to send the HSI.

Appointments on the schedule

Within the schedule different job types have different iconography and colours in order to make each job type look distinct and immediately recognisable. In the past the appointment got its job type from the job itself but this has caused some issues, the main one being that in order to get the correct iconography staff had to change the original jobs job type which would also change past appointments job types and mess with reporting figures.

Each appointment now has its own job type in order to make each appointment for a job recognisable and distinct (If you don't have access to any of the features discussed please talk to your supervisor as some of them are locked behind certain permissions)

Change the job type on an appointment

In the appointment menu you can select change on the job type and select the new job type you want to change it too

How to change the job type on appointment

If there is only one appointment for the job, changing the job type on that single appointment will also change the job type on the job itself.
If there is more than one appointment for the job, changing the job type on an appointment will only change that one specific appointments job type
When copying and pasting a new appointment for a job, you will now be able to select the job type of the appointment. The job type you pick

Activating / Deactivating customers

As long as that customer doesn't have an active job, you are able to deactivate them yourselves.

Navigate to the customer page -> click the three dots on the top right of the customer card -> click edit customer details -> either disable or enable the customer.

Be sure to edit the notes of the deactivated customer as to why they are being deactivated. If it is because of an account merger, note down the customer number that it is being merged with

If the customer that needs to be deactivated has an active job (that hasn't been attended yet) than please contact the support team in the Fallon support chat. If the customer being deactivated does have an active job that has been attended than it is too late to change it, you can simply deactivate the customer as normal.

Tips for a solving a slow device

Clearing the cache

Clearing the cache reduces a lot of the memory the app uses and reduces it down to just what you need at the time.

Login to the app
Go to the job tab -> Click your profile picture in the top right
Go to the bottom of the settings view -> click clear cache

|| You may need to close the app and re open it to see changes. Double click the home button -> swipe up on the fallon app -> re open the fallon app

Full device restart

If clearing the cache didn't work the next best thing to try is a full device restart. Sometimes your devices memory can be filled up not just by the Fallon app but by other apps as well

Quickly press of the up volume, quick press of the down volume
then hold the power button down until the Apple logo appears on the screen and retest.

Open the Fallon app and test the app speed

Delete old photos

If clearing the cache or a full device didn't have a noticeable improvement on app performance try deleting your old photos. A big issue on app performance is if the phones / ipad storage is very low app speed can plummet

go to Sales Orders/Invoices
filter type by credit memo and search for the memo by the reference
actions (up the top) => reverse
save and release

Void the existing Credit Memo application to the Invoice

View Applications
Reverse Application Release
Credit Memo / Invoice is open
Now apply Credit Memo to Debit Memo
Go to Credit Memo
Add Documents to Apply Select Debit Memo Release
Apply the Debit Memo to the Credit Memo
